Bade Group
Team collaboration

The firm

Built for leaders who cannot afford theater

Bade Group is a US-based partnership of strategists, architects, and operators. We work with CEOs, CIOs, boards, and investors when technology choices carry balance-sheet, regulatory, or reputational weight — and when the organization is tired of recommendations that ignore implementation reality.

What we believe

Intellectual honesty

We tell clients when their preferred path is infeasible, overpriced, or politically untenable — early, in writing.

Partner access

Senior people stay on the account. You will not discover mid-project that your lead was double-booked across four logos.

Transferable outcomes

Artifacts, runbooks, and decision logs are yours. We are suspicious of “black box” deliverables that create dependency.

Trajectory

A simplified firm history — illustrative of growth and focus, not a legal filing.

  • 2016

Founded as a four-person architecture practice serving healthcare and industrials.

  • 2019

Opened East Coast delivery hub; first multi-year managed pod engagement with a Fortune 500 manufacturer.

  • 2021

Formalized investor-services practice; completed twenty-two technical diligences in a single year.

  • 2024

Crossed two hundred cumulative programs; launched dedicated public-sector procurement track.

Footprint & staffing

We are headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with distributed senior staff in Austin, Atlanta, Denver, and Seattle. Typical engagement teams range from four to eighteen professionals, blending Bade Group partners with client secondees where appropriate. We do not offshore core architecture or security work; specialized labor is engaged transparently when it materially benefits the client economics.

Program scale

Where principal-led architecture shows up

Representative cloud, security, and platform programs — the kinds of environments that shape how we write methodology for regulated, high-scale, and mission-driven clients. Not an exhaustive list; many engagements remain confidential.

Cloud & enterprise SaaS

Oracle

Hyperscale cloud estates, tenancy and IAM design, and zero-trust–aligned patterns for managed infrastructure and enterprise SaaS.

Edge security & performance

Akamai Technologies

Global DDoS mitigation, WAF and bot defenses, API protection, and performance engineering for highly exposed internet-facing services.

Marketplace & platform trust

Airbnb

Architecture and security depth for global two-sided marketplaces: identity, payments resilience, abuse resistance, and safe scale-out of core platform paths.

Commerce & marketplace integrity

eBay

High-volume listing and transaction estates: fraud and abuse controls, seller/buyer trust mechanisms, and hardened integration layers at marketplace scale.

Retail & omnichannel

Walmart

Cloud and hybrid programs across retail-scale systems: omnichannel integration, supply-chain visibility, and reliability expectations of a national store footprint.

Travel & operations technology

American Airlines

Reservations, partner and alliance integrations, and resilience design for passenger-facing and operations-critical airline technology stacks.

People

Who you work with

Bade Group operates through a structured delivery model that combines international technical leadership with locally compliant execution.

For Nepal delivery structure and local partner credentials, see Partners.

Saugat Sthapit

Saugat Sthapit

Principal — cloud, security & architecture

Based in the Philadelphia area · US practice lead

Saugat leads Bade Group’s architecture voice — the layer boards, investors, and evaluators probe when cloud adoption, zero trust, and resilience carry real consequence. His work has spanned edge-scale protection, regulated life sciences, nonprofit missions, and HIPAA-aligned platforms, always with a bias toward systems that hold up in operations, not just in proposals.

On Nepal public and institutional programs, he shapes methodology, security posture, and technical narrative alongside Nisunajni Group as local prime — so QCBS depth and local compliance stay aligned.
